PAST WORK

My goal is to empower social service agencies to better serve their communities through customized, user-friendly systems. Here’s a glimpse into some recent projects:

 

I developed a custom CRM that replaced a nonprofit’s paper-based intake and program management process with a fully digital workflow. Applicants can now complete and sign intake forms online, automatically feeding data into the system for staff to review, approve, and assign participants to sessions. The platform also enables staff to track participant progress, store notes in an email-like inbox, upload files, manage schedules via a built-in calendar, and view real-time program data through a dashboard. A post-program automation streamlines follow-up surveys, integrating responses directly into participant profiles, eliminating administrative bottlenecks and improving efficiency.

Custom Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

Point-in-Time
Count Site

Created a comprehensive website for the annual Point-in-Time (PIT) count, fulfilling a key requirement from HUD for Continuums of Care (CoCs). The site featured an online version of the survey, guiding volunteers through a simplified process with conditional questions and automatic chronic homelessness determination. It also included a PDF version, HUD definitions, PIT guidance, volunteer registration, and a survey help guide with a video walkthrough. All data fed into a database, streamlining the submission process to HUD and making the experience more efficient for all involved.

SSG Fox SPGP

Designed and implemented a data submission and tracking system for the Staff Sergeant Parker Gordon Fox Suicide Prevention Grant from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. This system simplifies the assessment process for staff, providing an intuitive interface that tracks progress and offers easy-to-use assessments and visuals to track progress. This tool has reduced administrative burdens while providing clear, actionable insights into program performance.

Program Roster
Review Site

Put together an application for monthly updates on residents in a housing program. Through the system, staff can update key metrics and provide narrative progress reports. This feeds into an interface showing a summary for each of the program's participants. There's also an option for a print version for easy record-keeping.

Referral Application

Developed an internal tracking application for referrals to social service agencies. This tool enables referral tracking within a customizable resource guide from a pool of clients pulled directly from HMIS software. A dashboard shows at a glance referral totals, confirmations, service categories, and monthly trends. Embedded within the company’s SharePoint, the system ensures client confidentiality and empowers staff with easy access to referral data.
